Fiestaware! You can go to the Fiestaware Factory from here!
If you love Fiestaware, stay at Riverside B & B and go to the factory in West Virginia, about 35 minutes away. We have had several guests who do just that, even some who didn't realize how close the Homer Laughlin Company is and added that to their itinerary while visiting!
Founded in 1871, The Fiesta Tableware Company, Newell, West Virginia, was one of the first white ware plants in the United States. FIESTA® is truly an iconic American brand. It was introduced 85 years ago, during the Great Depression, in vibrant colors to brighten spirits: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Ivory. At the end of 1972, FIESTA® was retired after 37 years of production. In 1986 FIESTA® began new manufacturing of their dinnerware again. The Fiesta Tableware Company introduces one new color each year and FIESTA® has become the leading dinnerware brand in casual tabletop, as well as a consistent leader in bridal registries across America. All the while, collectors have continued to add to the dinnerware to which they were first introduced by their mothers and grandmothers. Today, FIESTA® dinnerware is the most collected dinnerware in the history of the tabletop industry with well over one half billion pieces produced.
