Exciting Inn Updates for 2024: a new wheelchair lift, EV Charger & more!

Hello, travelers and friends of Riverside Bed & Breakfast! It's been a bit since our last blog post, but we've been busy enhancing your experience here at our cozy inn. We're thrilled to announce the completion of Cathy's dream of having an ADA-compliant bed and breakfast with the installation of a brand new wheelchair lift! Now all of our guests can enjoy our warm hospitality and picturesque surroundings with improved accessibility.

Our 1-year Anniversary! Riverside B & B has been open one year this month!

We are so excited here at Riverside B & B. We celebrated our 1 year open anniversary, July 18, 2022, with a ribbon cutting ceremony sponsored by the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce! We had a beautiful day for the ceremony and cut the ribbon with great fanfare! Refreshments were served: Cupcakes from Carol's Cakes, here in Bridgewater and a beautiful logoed cake from Kretchmar's. We were able to send some extras to the Bridgewater Fire Department and the Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation too. Thanks to the BCCC and Katy Mir

Summertime Fun! Beaver County BOOM and Bridgewater Summerfest 2022 too!

Here we are in June. It is one year since our first web blog and next month will be our one year anniversary of the Riverside B & B opening! This month, we are a proud sponsor of the Beaver County Boom Fireworks display at the mouth of the Beaver River on June 25th at 10 pm. Our municipality, Bridgewater is having a local festival at the same time, called Bridgewater Summerfest at Riverside Park in front of the bed and breakfast. There will be live bands, food vendors, fireman water battles, a bike parade and more! Noon to 11:30 PM

Spring Time Flowers at Riverside B & B

Russ is our resident gardener among other things. He has a green thumb and makes sure everything looks great around Riverside B & B.

Fiestaware! You can go to the Fiestaware Factory from here!

If you love Fiestaware, stay at Riverside B & B and go to the factory in West Virginia, about 35 minutes away. We have had several guests who do just that, even some who didn't realize how close the Homer Laughlin Company is and added that to their itinerary while visiting!

March - Not Quite Spring but Almost

March at Riverside B & B this year has been a time for some maintenance, spring yard clean up, and our personal vacation. Innkeepers work 24/7 year round and need some off time too. Russ and I have vacation for a week and are looking forward to some of our own special time together. This helps renew us so we can provide the best service at Riverside B & B every day. We are very appreciative of our guest and their wonderful reviews. You inspire us!

Valentine's Day at Riverside B & B

Oh, the time has come for romance. Anniversay celebrations, Valentines's Day, and even birthdays! February is a great month for those romantic get aways. We have one of our suites, that is frequently booked for these special celebrations. The Dunlap Suite has a king sized bed, working fireplace, and a master bath with a whirlpool tub, and separate shower. There is even a dimmer on the lights to provide "atmosphere'! Each of our rooms have thier own bathroom and special atmosphere to make your celebrations special.

Happy New Year! Welcome 2022!

Happy New Year to all our guests, our neighbors, and our family! As a society, we know what an unusal past few years have been like, but it feels like things may be changing for the better. We have been busy in January and have weekdays and weekends booked, mostly for guests visiting family. Not a lot of snow, but we are so glad we got the Riverside B & B parking lot paved just before winter. It is much easier to keep clean and our guests can bring their luggage in easily. More travelers are coming!

Riverside B & B Christmas Time

Russ and I are so excited to have our first Christmas at Riverside B & B. On Thanksgiving Day our guests left to see their families and when they returned, we had transformed from one holiday to the next! In less than 24 hours, the inn was filled with Christmas wonder! Every public and guest room was now a festive delight! The Christmas tree in the foyer was beautiful to see inside or outside the inn.

Thanksgiving - Time for Visiting Family at Home

It is already that time of year. We have several guests staying at Riverside B & B over the Thanksgiving holiday to spend time with their "back home" families. We are decorated beautifully for Fall and Thanksgiving and certainly have fun doing so. We bring out the fall Fiestaware dishes in yellows and greens to match the mood. On Thanskgiving Day the breakfast is a little lighter as everyone is saving room for their Thanksgiving feast!
